Day 1 :
Paro Airport to Thimphu, 65kms in 2 Hrs. – We receive you on your arrival and after airport formalities drive to Thimphu (Alt 8979Ft / 2736M) the modern capital town of Bhutan. Check in at Hotel. Free Evening Overnight at Thimphu.
Day 2 :
Full Day Thimpu sightseeing – After Breakfast: Go for Major Sightseeing Covering 1) Buddha Point, 2)BBS Tower, 3)Tashicchhoe Dzong, 4)The Memorial Chorten, 5)National Library, 6)The Institute of Traditional Medicine, 7)Centenary Farmer Market, 8)Changlimithang Stadium, 9)School of Arts & Crafts, 10)Handicraft Institute, 11)Zangthopelri Lhakhang, 12)Motithang Takin Reserve (Takin Zoo), 13)Semtokha Dzong.
Day 3 :
Thimphu to Dochula pass and transfer to Paro- 100 kms in 3.5 hrs – After early breakfast, drive up to Dochu-la pass (3,088m/ 10,130 ft) to take in the view and admire the chorten, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road – If skies are clear, the following peaks can be seen from this pass Masagang (7158 meters), Tsendagang ( 6960 meters), Terigang (7060 meters), Jejegangphugang (7158 meters), Kangphugang (7170 meters ), Zongphugang (7060 meters), etc – finally Gangkar puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7497 meters – Next drive to Paro visiting Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the country built in 1627 on the way – Evening stroll around the area – Night stay at Paro.
Day 4 :
Paro Full Day Sight Seeing After Breakfast: Visit 1) Drukgyal Dzong, 2) View of Taktsang Monastery, 3) Kichulanka Monastery, 4) Ta Dzong, 5) Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), 6) Nya-Mey Zam, 7) Dungtse Lhankhang, 8) Druk Choeding. In Evening: Stroll Through the Market of Paro & Overnight Stay.
Day 5 :
Transfer from Paro to Phuentsholling – 180 kms in 6.5 hrs – Early morning after breakfast transfer to Phuentsholing – On the way take a short stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers with three different style of stupas adorn this confluence – Drive further through Chapcha and later take glimpse of famous Chukha Dam and the magnificent Vince waterfall before Gedu town – Arrive Phuenthsoling by evening and check into the hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area – Night stay at hotel in Phuentsholing.
Day 6 :
Departure and Transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – 170 kms in 6 hrs- After Breakfast: Check Out from Hotel & Drop to NJP/IXB For Onward Journey. (Wish You A Happy And Prosperous Journey).
